LA’s BEST Fall Registration

What is LA’s BEST?

LA's Best is an after school enrichment program designed to engage students in a wide array of subjects including science, technology, engineering and math (STEM); the arts, literacy, sports, nutrition and so much more through various activities. At the core of every activity, students experience social-emotional learning and assist them in gaining confidence, showing empathy and developing positive relationships. Each LA's Best student is provided with a nutritious snack as well as assistance with homework.

In order for students to fully benefit from the program we highly encourage students to be in attendance every day from start of the program to 5:45 pm, doing so allows for the program to be at no cost to parents of LA’s BEST students. Students not in attendance or following LA’s BEST policies can be in jeopardy of losing the program. Lastly, this practice also helps ensure students are picked up safely and their whereabouts are known by site staff/LA’s BEST.

* It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to apply for the LA’s BEST program in a timely manner as applications are accepted on a first come-first serve basis. Program is budgeted for 80 students only, therefore once spaces have been filled students’ applications will be placed on a waitlist. Once student has been accepted into the program parent will receive a phone call with a start date to begin the program.
